different meanings of "html5 experience"?

I often see job postings looking for HTML5 experience. What does this mean exactly? Does this refer exclusively to features added to HTML5 that didn't exist in HTML4? Or does this commonly imply or suggest other aspects of related tools or infrastructure that uses or is associated with HTML5? For example, this video refers to "HTML5 apps" which seems to encompass a larger domain than simple HTML markup additions:
