cssview Chrome extension and local HTML file

Added the extension cssview to Version 50.0.2661.102 Ubuntu 14.04.

It works OK except if I have a local html file with a local style.css. I think it's pretty standard - in the head tag, files are in the same folder and CSS work fine otherwise:

But cssview does not work for the local files. Wondered why? Thanks
